Bruce West , Principal

Bruce has 25 years of senior pharmaceutical management experience in all phases of product commercialization in the ethical pharmaceutical market. His experience includes leading the global Cholesterol Reducer franchise for Merck as the Global VP of Marketing for over 6 years. In addition, Bruce has managed multiple products in the U.S. market, spanning numerous therapeutic categories. In his final assignment at Merck, Bruce was responsible for promotional medical education, the medical liaison organization, and advocacy development for the U.S. market. Since departing Merck in 2001, Bruce has been the founder of and launched two successful businesses serving the pharma industry: one business is devoted to tracking and evaluating promotional speaker programs and individual speaker performance, and the other is focused on the comprehensive, objective and accurate identification of opinion leaders at all levels in the marketplace.
